Where History Meets Hospitality
Originally known as The Keyes Inn opening in the late 1780s to serve travelers to the Western Frontier. The Inn served as a tavern, stagecoach stop and post office. The Inn was a strategic business move on the part of the Keyes family to monetize on travelers heading back and forth from Philadelphia and Washington. You will see the Keyes family name on nearby road signs depicting Keyes Gap and Keyes Ferry.
